even if you dont have your own movie links website, you can still make some money by posting movie links on Complotolister. all you need to do is to use the banner to show some ads.
for that you need to register with an affiliate program like google adsense, cpxinteractive, bidvertiser or etology. these affiliate programs are good and they verify who they make business with. but some others like affiliatebot are fully automated and will immediately accept anyone. though they are much less money... i suggest you google for a more complete list of affiliate programs
then all you need to do, is to make a simple webpage that you are going to use as your banner. you can put your ads or whatever you want on that page. you have to consider that this webpage is going to be shown in a space of 150 pixels high and use the full width of the browser. though the user can grab the middle bar and pull it up or down to see more of either your banner or the page under.
and finaly, you use the URL of this webpage on which you placed your ads as your banner URL. so this way you can show ads on top of the links that you post on Complotolister and make money within the Complotolister system.
if you need a place to host the webpage in question, there are many services on the internet that offer to host webpages for free, like awardspace.com for example. over there you can create an account for free and you get a certain amount of space and a free subdomain.
and finally you will also need a bit of knowledge in HTML to make that banner nicely. luckily, that part is easy and fun. just go through this HTML tutorial from w3schools and in only a few hours you should be ready to start making some webpages.
if you want to post on Complotolister a link that goes to your site where the links for a movie are located, thats fine as usual but, whenever i have the time, i will make a copy of the direct links on my page.
on the other hand, if you post direct links on Complotolister (example: for a movie on youtube, post youtube links http://youtube.com/watch?v=gF0v-VDXuyQ...) i will not need to make a double of these links and will also remove all other posts that post the same link, only keeping the direct links. you will be able to make publicity for your own website and money with these direct links by setting a banner URL on these links. when the links will be clicked, the page will open in 2 frames and the top frame (whole width of the page, 150 pixels high) will show your banner page, the bottom page will show the direct links.
since the banner is actually a frame, so a webpage, you can have anything that you can have on a webpage in your banner. including popups, ads, navigation menu for your site ect....
an example of a nice header would be a page that displays one of your best ads in the middle and a navigation menu for your website under. make sure that you set the target to "_top" on the links of your navigation bar, so that when someone clicks them, it "breaks out of the frame", redirecting the whole page to the clicked location instead of just the top frame (example <a href="http://mysite.com/main.html" target="_top">main page</a>)
you can even put some popups... but if you go the popup way, please dont go too crazy on them.. if theres too much, we'll turn off the banner... reasonable is good..
also note that frames are not locked and ppl can just grab the middle bar and pull it down to see a bigger portion of your banner. using the homepage of your site for a banner performs admirably well.
